  6 years ago this week i was baptized, had my first communion and confirmation in the catholic church.

  JW youths - How did you spend your vacation and holidays?

  you don't have to be a "young one" to answer this question!.

  the society prides itself on the thousands of jw youth who open "a large door leading to activity" during the holidays and summer vacation.

  we are led to believe that the youth have few interests of their own and spend the majority of their free time away from school (or college!

  young ones are suggested to go out on field service straight after school and during the evening to take advantage of the extra daylight hours.

  HA HA HA HA HA

  We never did any of that shit....

  vacation time was just that! Christmas vacation? Played football and in the snow! Spring break? Rode our bikes all over creation! Summer Vacation? More Biking, Hiking anything to our LIKING....But never an extra minute in service....

  1914 WW 1 is it a fallacy

  the outbreak of war in 1914 was maybe not in the true sense a world war because at that date it was a war between some european states and was not the earlier american civil war a war between states?

  maybe it could be said that the actual world war only happened when the americans came into it on april the 6th 1917 and then only lasted until the following year.. the point i'm making is what's the big deal with 1914 anyway, maybe the true date of jesus arriving in the minds eye was much later maybe it was in 1939 which was the start of another fine old mess.. the jdubs could hang their predictions on any old date because it don't mean a thing..

  i'm just wondering what everyone's favorite brand and type of ice cream is.

  i recently have been able to eat dairy products after having my gall bladder removed.

  i always thought i was lactose intolerant, but all along it was my g.b.

  as i told you before, they boe have been considering me for the eldership.

  which i don't care for, but since my family is stuck in this cult, i guess i can use the new position to help them see that the holy spirit has nothing to do with me being an elder.

  You are to be commended for your sacrifice, man. I think you going in like this is proof they have none of the Holy Spirit. I also think you going in is much like a medical examiner's icky sort of job. Try to hold your nose as much as you can, do not judge people too harshly, and remember that LOVE is what being human is all about. I do hope the Father and Son can use you for good.

  i was thinking today how easy it was for jesus to recruit his disciples and how long he had to wait for them.

  they just left their livelihood and their family to follow him.. does this really seem realistic?

  did jesus already have a reputation at this time.

  Actually, I think Jesus had them go out in the field with Him first and study the ancient watchtower scrolls. He also taught them from the old Troof book and after about 1 year he would ask them a lot of questions and then determine if they were worthy of baptism. If they were He would have them baptized in a sterilized tub to prevent communicable diseases from infecting His new sheep. Then he would follow them around and make inquiries about their homelife and make sure they were studying with their families the watchtower scroll for the week, another family based book that teaches the wife and kids to listen to the husband/father, and get baptized too....

  lots of 'worldly humans look back with affection and positive emotion at their past life and loves and adventures!

  this is especially true for periods in life humans have often devoted themselves to!.

  it is lovely to see and hear ones with natural experiences and happiness to relate!.

  My brother and I ran around a circuit assembly in Albuquerque at the now demolished Civic Auditorium and made racket and laughed. When some bald overlord tried to stop us we told him...GO UP YOU BALD HEAD! LOL Then my friend Phillip started telling him he had an egghead and we should hard boil it....He cornered my bro in the bathroom and asked his father's name. We are Hispanic, so he said our dad's name was Skovinsnki....LOL You should have heard us laugh when they called brother Skovinski to the back....

  my daughter is in 6th grade.. i know from personal experience when i was in jr high that kids can be really mean.

  i used to come home crying everyday.

  i was told that i was ugly and i would never get married.

  When I was in school I was picked on a few times. I ignored it until they laid their hands on me. Then I kicked their ass, or tried real hard to. Nowadays they suspend BOTH kids, even if one was only defending him/herself. If I were in her shoes I would find something else to hit him with. Like, wow, what a real man you are picking on a girl. I bet your folks are proud of you. Granted, an uneducated lout like him will just laugh it off, but someone in the crowd may back her. I am not big on involving adults in kid stuff, but since the counselor is already involved and has given some advice that had no real positive results, I would talk to the principal. If that doesn't work I would contact an attorney. Every little N word gets people sued, why can't this harassment be sued for?
